Hi friends! I don’t know about you, but I find this time of year to be a real slog. The post-holiday winter season is brutal! I hope you’re finding ways to stay warm (in both body and spirit, of course of course).
I’ve been back in the studio big time this month 😤 and am v excited to show ya’ll what I’ve been working on!
Tugboat Gallery Show
Soooo excited to be part of my first out-of-town show at the lovely Tugboat Gallery in Lincoln Nebraska, alongside Lincoln-based artist Gage Woolsey! Rat Race opens next Friday and will be up through the month of February. If you’re in the area I’d love to see you at the opening reception!
SQUEEZE! Prints
Uh oh! New print alert! This risograph reinterpretation of my SQUEEZE! sculpture series was printed by the lovely folks at Risolve Studio <3

I also spent some time putting together a quick animation test with these frames, which was very very fun!!!!!!!
This edition of prints is available in my shop now if you’d like to bring a little bit of SQUEEZE! action to your home :-)
ZOOM! Rugs
I started a new rug series in January that I’m excited to finish up soon 👀 This one is a diptych piece exploring the extremes of a car! going! fast! (and is definitely a continuation of the varsity jacket project I did a little while back)
More to come on these, but I thought I’d share a quick in-progress shot!

5 Things I Loved This Month
1. Watching: Janet Planet
I think this might be my new favorite movie of all time? So beautifully shot, and about being a weird little kid which is basically the most relatable thing imaginable.
2. Shopping: Perfect items from IKEA
Two beautiful purchases from IKEA this month. I love u Sweden!

3. Listening: Freak Accident by Al Menne
I’ve been obsessed with this sweet lil album!
Al Menne is also the lead singer of a band called Great Grandpa, which has a very different vibe but I’m also loving
4. Eating: Bananas Foster Chocolate Chunk Cookies
This was the only thing I baked all month but it’s okay because they were soooo good
5. Reading: I Worried by Mary Oliver
Obviously things in the world are quite fraught these days, and I feel worried basically all the time always, so this poem feels especially important right now.
Monthly Inspiration Dump

That’s all for today! I’ll see you next month. Until then I hope you’re hanging in there! Things feel crazy right now, but I’m trying to remember that community is all we have, there is hope, etc. etc. I’m grateful to share the world with each and every one of you <3
Awh!! Thanks for sharing! :,)
